Excellent service and would recommend for family.

    Superb

Great location we went to Barry Humphries at the Capitol Theartre and then caught the train to the Gold Coast. The location was the main reason we chose the Central Station Hotel as it was within walking distance of both. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

The hot water took a long while to come through to the shower in the morning.

    Superb

Great modern hotel - clean, efficient staff, great location. Requested a family room but they had double booked, offered us 2 rooms instead at no extra cost - was happy with that.

    Superb

The beds were very comfortable. We really enjoyed looking at the book about Sydney - it helped us with our travels.

The shower head was difficult to adjust.

We stayed at Central Station Hotel because we had caught a train to Sydney from Newcastle and needed a room for one night as were flying out the following morning. The hotel served the purpose of being cheap accommodation not too far from Central Station. The room was basic, but clean and tidy.

It was a little further from the train station than I had thought (we had large luggage, and were walking), but not too bad. (The following night we stayed in a hotel in Kuala Lumpur for the same price, and it was absolutely beautiful and luxurious)

Central location. Correspondence with office staff prior to our visit.

Outside noise - motorbike revved each night we stayed.

Could communicate facilities available clearer - was not aware until half way through stay that they had a kitchen - also dd not realise until next day that the fridge had not been turned on

Very obliging, friendly helpful staff. Nice clean room and bathroom. Comfortable beds

First appearance was a bit off putting. Inside was like a rabbit warren

    Very good

The staff was very friendly and helpful and all came across and appeared very professional

First impression of this accommodation is somewhat a bit shocking, its outside looks pretty run down however never judge a book by its cover! We were very happy with the room. We did get stuck in the lift and had to get out on level 1 which wasnt that pleasant and had no where to go except back into the lift which eventually worked and took us up to our floor!

Closeness to railway. Staff were very polite.

We stayed in room g1. This was booked in June as a 3 bed premium room. In this room there is no room, no chairs, no closet space, the refridgerator was turn off when we arrived, so there was no ice for a drink. This is definatley not a 3 bed room. Our daughter and her husband and son booked a 3 bed premium room in October and were given room 206 which had more space, a closet, 3 chairs and an opening window. We only had a glassed in window which meant you had to run the a/c all the time. There is plenty of opposition out there and we will try them next time.

    Fabulous

Location, easy parking, windows open, comforable bed.

Slowest elevator I've ever been in. TV's don't have dvd capability to play owner dvd.

    Fabulous

Easy acessibility, convenient public transport. Walking distance to variety of eatery outlets. Clean hotel rooms.

    Superb

Good central location to CBD, harbour, trains and nightlife. Easy to find, no fuss booking in, great staff, clean room, good breakfast packs, quiet, good alround place to stay for a short break for couples or travellers. No lounge facility really so not a family or long stay type place .

Could have done with a bench outside the front for us smokers to sit on in a morning!
